Host, Robbie White will play music from Flight of Odin’s last release, “The Only Door”, and air their new EP, “Goddess in Smoke”, which will be available digitally, worldwide, later this month. The discussion about backgrounds and songwriting will delve into the brains of three original members who cofounded the band. Namely, Xyra… singer/songwriter and former rock journalist/DJ, her husband, bassist and executive producer, Andrew Cann, and drummer/percussionist, Kenny Finger. Listeners might note that the three were on the show, previously, when former WHFS host, Weasel interviewed them in 2019.

Xyra and Andrew first met Kenny in 2015, quite by accident… while auditioning then lead guitarist Mike Karagiannis. The four hit it off and soon began rehearsals, developing their sound for the first edition of Flight of Odin. Kenny provided a solid backbone on drums, contributing significantly to the development of their first album release, “The Only Door”.

Presently, Kenny, Xyra and Andrew collaborate on Flight of Odin’s new project, along with virtuoso guitarists Andy Paul (GuitarGuru), 12-string/electric guitarist Dan Kolcun, and pro violinist Chelle Fulk. Together, they have begun work on a full album to be recorded at BIAS Studios and released later this year.

Members are formally trained, professional musicians with multiple album releases under their belts, garnering international accolades and airplay.
